The natural fibers of the cotton used for this dish towel are inherently somewhat stiff.
Before the first wash, soak your dish towel in a gallon of lukewarm water mixed with 3 tablespoons of coarse salt. Let soak overnight, then machine wash at a low temperature. Your dish towel will be soft and ready to use.
